Fragile Product Packout Labels And Documents Playbook

Use this when return notes mention breakage, dents, cracks, or scuffs. This playbook is for teams shipping glass, ceramic, electronics, collectibles, or crush-sensitive goods.

Packout checklist

  1. Identify where the product can move, flex, rub, or make contact with a hard carton edge.
  2. Confirm materials: thermal labels, label rolls, packing list envelopes, document pouches.
  3. Keep printer media, cleaning cards, and a visible label-orientation sample at the label station.
  4. For fragile product packout work, treat labels and documents as a controlled operation: define the package spec, stage the right materials, and inspect the first completed orders before volume scales.
  5. Record the approved package size, finished weight, label position, and exception rule.

QA checks

  • Add an internal restraint method.
  • Check product clearance on every side.
  • Run a small drop/handling simulation before scaling.

Station setup

Keep printer media, cleaning cards, and a visible label-orientation sample at the label station.
