Packout checklist

  1. Group items by weight, fragility, surface finish, and movement risk before selecting the package.
  2. Confirm materials: thermal labels, label rolls, packing list envelopes, document pouches.
  3. Keep printer media, cleaning cards, and a visible label-orientation sample at the label station.
  4. For multi-item order work, treat labels and documents as a controlled operation: define the package spec, stage the right materials, and inspect the first completed orders before volume scales.
  5. Record the approved package size, finished weight, label position, and exception rule.

QA checks

  • Put heavier items low and stable.
  • Separate abrasive or sharp items.
  • Avoid filler patterns that let items migrate.
