Pack Station Training Labels And Documents Playbook

Use this when a new packer, new shift, temp team, or new warehouse starts using the packaging flow. This playbook is for warehouse leads onboarding new packers or standardizing multiple shifts.

Packout checklist

  1. Create a live station walkthrough showing approved material locations, package selection rules, label placement, and exception escalation.
  2. Confirm materials: thermal labels, label rolls, packing list envelopes, document pouches.
  3. Keep printer media, cleaning cards, and a visible label-orientation sample at the label station.
  4. For pack station training work, treat labels and documents as a controlled operation: define the package spec, stage the right materials, and inspect the first completed orders before volume scales.
  5. Record the approved package size, finished weight, label position, and exception rule.

QA checks

  • Have the trainee pack three supervised orders.
  • Score each order against the same QA checklist.
  • Keep photo examples of approved and failed packouts at the station.

Station setup

Keep printer media, cleaning cards, and a visible label-orientation sample at the label station.
