Packout checklist

Compare dimensions, material grade, adhesive or closure type, compatibility with equipment, and storage requirements.
Confirm materials: poly mailers, padded mailers, rigid mailers, return labels.
Stage each mailer size in labeled slots and keep a product-fit sample beside the active pick list.
For supplier substitution review work, treat mailer selection as a controlled operation: define the package spec, stage the right materials, and inspect the first completed orders before volume scales.
Record the approved package size, finished weight, label position, and exception rule.

QA checks

Run a side-by-side packout test.
Confirm the substitute fits existing storage and replenishment labels.
Document when the substitute is allowed and when it is not.
