Packout checklist
- List the approved packout at each site and compare material SKUs, final dimensions, label position, and exception rules.
- Confirm materials: inspection labels, replacement mailers, void fill, return envelopes.
- Separate inspect, clean, relabel, and repack areas so returned units do not mix with ready-to-ship inventory.
- For multi-warehouse standardization work, treat returns and rework as a controlled operation: define the package spec, stage the right materials, and inspect the first completed orders before volume scales.
- Record the approved package size, finished weight, label position, and exception rule.
QA checks
- Choose one standard packout or a documented regional exception.
- Share photos and material IDs across sites.
- Audit the next ten orders from each location after the change.
