Packout checklist

  1. Check whether the outbound package can be reopened, resealed, relabeled, and handled a second time.
  2. Confirm materials: inspection labels, replacement mailers, void fill, return envelopes.
  3. Separate inspect, clean, relabel, and repack areas so returned units do not mix with ready-to-ship inventory.
  4. For returns-ready package work, treat returns and rework as a controlled operation: define the package spec, stage the right materials, and inspect the first completed orders before volume scales.
  5. Record the approved package size, finished weight, label position, and exception rule.

QA checks

  • Include return documents only when needed.
  • Make the return label path obvious.
  • Avoid packaging that tears before inspection.
