Packout checklist
- Check whether the outbound package can be reopened, resealed, relabeled, and handled a second time.
- Confirm materials: inspection labels, replacement mailers, void fill, return envelopes.
- Separate inspect, clean, relabel, and repack areas so returned units do not mix with ready-to-ship inventory.
- For returns-ready package work, treat returns and rework as a controlled operation: define the package spec, stage the right materials, and inspect the first completed orders before volume scales.
- Record the approved package size, finished weight, label position, and exception rule.
QA checks
- Include return documents only when needed.
- Make the return label path obvious.
- Avoid packaging that tears before inspection.
